I live in Jaffrey, NH where the state’s worst roads are probably located. It definitely helps having the air-ride, and being able to air up when on a bumpier-than-usual road.
- I’m a 19 year old college student, who works full time. I work my ass off to get what I want, and I think it’s reflected in this car. Many people say, “must be nice” or assume my parents pay for it all. I worked my ass off to get my air ride, paint protection, ceramic pro, wheels and keep my car looking nice. She’s been a huge PITA but she’s worth it, and I will continue to keep working hard and putting more and more of my personality into this car.
Who or what was your inspiration for this car? What made you want to build what you did?
My best friend has air ride in his mk5, and once I drove it ,I fell in love. I absolutely love airing out when I park, one of the best feelings is seeing the faces of people who are completely baffled that your car is so low. When the Radi 8 B12 originally came out, I had just bought a set of Rotiforms. So I told myself I wasn’t going to invest in new wheels unless they were 3 piece, but I found myself constantly looking at and obsessing over the B12s, I gave in and ordered them.
Lastfully is there anyone that you would like to thank for helping you with this build?
- There were a handful of people who helped me with my car, but most importantly, I’m thankful for my best friend John. He answered all my questions, and actually taught me how to install my air-ride. Also, James & Melissa Curtis from Wheel Lab for helping me buy what was best fitting for my car, and hooking me up with all the discounts. More importantly the friendship that we’ve established. Lastly, Justin Budd from BuffMaster’s Auto Detailing in Keene, NH for the paint correction and hook up on ceramic pro!
